Chef Youssef Darwish has been a part of the Jood Palace Hotel team since 2010, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in the culinary world, He has spent much of his career working in different hotels chains across the UAE.
He currently leads the award-winning culinary team at Jood Palace Hotel Dubai and has seen remarkable success at the inaugural Dubai World Hospitality Championship and Emirates International Salon Culinaire Competition, held as part of the Gulf Food exhibition 2013. Competing with more than 1,300 chefs from top ranked properties. Chef Youssef and his team were awarded 11 medals and six additional Awards of Merit, beating their own record of five medals and six merits in 2013, and for the first time winning the gold medal.
Chef Darwish says, “To be recognized by international judges from the World Association of Chefs’ Societies is a tremendous honor for our young chefs, I sincerely hope this will inspire young talent to practice and perfect their skills.”
